UTA Signs Zane Hijazi And Heath Hussar, Inks Ad Sales Deal For Their ‘Unfiltered’ Podcast

UTA has signed Vlog Squad members and co-hosts of the Unfiltered podcast Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar. The talent agency will rep Unfiltered as well as both creators individually.

The signings arrive, Deadline reports, as UTA’s Emerging Platforms division closed a multi-year ad sales deal for Unfiltered — which counts 941,000 subscribers and is roughly netting over 5.5 million views a month on an accompanying YouTube channel — with podcasting platform Audioboom. Audioboom matches podcasts with advertising agencies and brands for host-read endorsements, dynamically inserted ads, sponsorships, and branded content. It also furnishes distribution and production services.

“Signing with UTA marks the next step in our careers, and we’re excited to continue growing our businesses and pursue new opportunities,” Hijazi and Hussar told Deadline

in a statement. “Additionally, we’re thankful to be a part of the Audioboom family alongside so many talented individuals in the audio space.”

Hijazi and Hussar count 3.8 million and 2.4 million subscribers on their personal YouTube channels, and are also the joint proprietors of a coffee company called Kramoda. Back in January 2020, their podcast also reportedly sold $600,000 worth of ads in three months.
