Pregnant YouTuber Nicole Thea And Her Unborn Son, Reign, Have Passed Away

British YouTuber and dancer Nicole Thea, who was pregnant with her first child, has passed away at the age of 24.

Thea was a lifestyle creator and owner of eyelash and accessories company The Thea Kollection. She and her partner Boga (member of performance group Ghana Boyz) announced her pregnancy in April, and many of her weekly uploads since then chronicled various aspects of it for her 91.8K subscribers. She was reportedly due to give birth in just a few weeks, but yesterday evening, her mother updated her Instagram with a somber message letting followers know the creator had died unexpectedly.

“To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning,” her mother wrote, captioning a photo of Thea

The latest video uploaded to Thea’s channel (embedded below) went live July 12, the day her mother posted that message. Her mother noted that Thea has pre-scheduled it and a few other videos before her death, and “Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.”

Thea’s cause of death is not known.

“As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened,” her mother wrote. “RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”
