TikTok Talent Firm TalentX Entertainment Names Samantha Ball Director Of Talent

TalentX Entertainment, the digital talent management firm that specializes in TikTok representation, continues to announce new hires at a rapid pace.

The latest addition to its ranks is WME and Endeavor Content alum Samantha Ball, who has been named TalentX’s director of talent. In this role, Ball will assist TalentX clients in developing non-scripted projects, and will also represent her own dedicated roster of creators on a day-to-day basis. Ball will report to Maxwell Mitcheson, who joined TalentX from A3 Artists Agency last week as VP and head of its talent division.

At WME, Ball focused on talent representation as well as packaging and selling TV projects across multiple categories, including reality, sports, news, and talk shows. At Endeavor Content — the content arm of WME’s parent company — Ball worked on a team that was behind the sales of documentary projects from Rihanna, The Jonas Brothers, The Beastie Boys, and more.

At TalentX, one of the projects that Ball will be developing is a reality show based on Sway LA — a TikTok creator collective that recently saw two of its members, Josh Richards (18.4 million TikTok followers) and Jaden Hossler (6.2 million), announce their departure from the group to pursue other ventures. In terms of day-to-day representation, Ball will be working with the following TikTok stars: comedian Tommy Unold

(9.3 million followers), twin creators Jason and Joe Waud (5.5 million combined followers), DIYer and host Erik Struk (6.2 million), and Sarah Graysun (5.1 million).

“Samantha’s wealth of experience in both working with talent and navigating the non-scripted world will provide a substantial depth to our staff,” said Michael Gruen, TalentX’s co-head of business development, “and gives our clients the ability to pursue their dream production slates while having a development genius walk them through the process.”

In addition to Ball and Mitcheson, TalentX also recently onboarded two former Gersh agents: Sean Stewart as digital talent director and Michael Senzer as VP of business development. Former Fullscreen exec Warren Lentz was named co-founder and co-CEO of TalentX earlier this year. And the company was founded in 2019 by a trio of creators: YouTube star Tal Fishman, gamer Jason Wilhelm, and Josh Richards. TalentX operates partnerships with gaming conglomerate ReKTGlobal and ICM Partners.
