Digital network BroadbandTV (BBTV) has added eight YouTubers to its massive creator roster.
First up, the Vancouver-based firm has signed competitive eater Matt Stonie (11 million subscribers and 51 million monthly views), who is the third top eater in Major League Eating, and who documents his eating feats on his popular YouTube channel. Stonie is managed by Night Media. BBTV has also onboarded YouTube stalwart Jesse Wellens, who rose to fame as one-half of seminal couple prank channel PrankvsPrank. Wellens counts 10.6 million subscribers and nabs 6.2 million monthly views on his solo channel.
Other signings include the following gamers: Danish Minecraft streamer Crainer (5.8 million subscribers, 44.5 million monthly views), who is signed to OP Talent; Twitch’s most-watched Australian streamer MrFreshAsian (3.7 million, 40 million), who competes in Fortnite; and VR-based comedic creator Mully (2.7 million, 38 million). (Both MrFreshAsian and Mully are repped by Click Management).
Rounding out the signings are Canadian director Cole Walliser (119,000, 4 million), extreme sports athlete Josh Neuman (645,000, 9.2 million), and comedian Ricky Berwick (1.9 million, 7 million).
“The pandemic has further accelerated digital video consumption, and BBTV’s viewership has reached record levels with growth across all demographics,” BBTV founder and CEO Shahrzad Rafati said in a statement. “We remain fully committed to providing all content partners, including these new signings, with a broad range of leading services, technology, and distribution and monetization expansion opportunities, propelling them to success.”
