CAA Signs YouTube Beauty Guru Rachel Levin (Exclusive)

Talent agency CAA has signed longtime YouTube beauty guru Rachel Levin, whose channel RCLBeauty101 has more than 14.5 million subscribers and nearly 4 billion total views.

Levin, who’s 25, joined YouTube in 2010, and filled her channel with makeup and hair tutorials. In the years since, she’s scored partnerships with major cosmetics companies like Clinique, CoverGirl, Function of Beauty, and Baptiste Hair, snagged cover spots on publications like Adweek and LA Weekly, and been nominated for multiple Streamy and Teen Choice Awards.

Nowadays, Levin’s content is a mix of beauty and lifestyle. Recent videos have seen her feature guest celebrities like Karlie Kloss, swap outfits with fellow YouTubers like Nikita Dragun, star in MrBeaststyle stunts, and try dozens of life hacks. She generally uploads one video per week, and her channel nets around 30 million views per month. (She also has 3.4 million followers on Instagram.)

Signing with CAA is the latest in a string of career moves for Levin. She’s a newly minted CEO, having launched her first company, RCLÓ Cosmetics, in December. The vegan and cruelty-free brand took four years of development, and currently offers two eyeshadow palettes, a line of lip glosses, and a line of highlighters.

Levin is also a newly minted music artist: she dropped her debut single, “Myself,” on Valentine’s Day. At the time, Levin said she wrote the song–described as a “self-love pop anthem”–because “I know a lot of my followers struggle with confidence and are at the age where they’re still learning how to be comfortable in their own skin.”

In addition to being represented by CAA in all areas, Levin is managed by Naomi Lennon at Lennon Management.
