YouTube is going all in on international Fashion Week programming within its recently-launched /Fashion vertical.
As Fashion Month ends — following events in New York, London, Milan, and Paris — YouTube is spotlighting tons of behind-the-scenes programming from fashion creators, publications, fashion professionals, and brands on its dedicated hub, including videos from beauty guru Patrick Starrr, Filipina actress Love Marie Escudero, fashion channel The Unknown Vlogs, and model Karlie Kloss.
The dedicated videos serve to supplement the roughly 40 runway shows that were livestreamed on YouTube during this year’s Fashion Month, including Bottega Veneta, Jonathan Simkhai, Tod’s, Marni, and Lanvin.
That said, the behind-the-scenes Fashion Week programming will live on an all-new dedicated shelf at YouTube.com/Fashion, which will continue to be updated every month with other themed video collections throughout the year.
“Since we first launched /Fashion last September, we’ve seen an incredibly warm response from fans, creators, brands, professionals and publishers,” Derek Blasberg, YouTube’s head of fashion and beauty, said in a statement. “Not only do we continue to spotlight amazing style content for our fans, but we believe the themed programming we’re introducing today will give fashion fans around the world unparalleled access to this whirlwind of a month.”
