MTV is going all in on Tana Mongeau.
Following the success of her inaugural digital docuseries with the ViacomCBS-owned network — which appears to have spawned a second season as well as a linear television series, Bustedness, co-starring Mongeau’s husband, Jake Paul — the 21-year-old has landed an MTV Christmas special dubbed Here Comes Tana Claus.
The special comes care of MTV’s No Filter franchise, which is creating docuseries that gives fans a glimpse into the lives of top influencers, distributed on MTV’s YouTube channel. The first season of Mongeau’s No Filter series, Tana Turns 21, clocked 27 million YouTube views across seven episodes. The next creator to be given the No Filter treatment will be Bretman Rock. It remains to be seen whether Here Comes Tana Claus, dropping on Dec. 23, will be produced in the docuseries style of other No Filter
episodes.A promo photo features Mongeau decked out in holiday attire with her best friends and series co-stars Natalie Bohling, Trevor Moran, Imari Stuart, Ashly Schwan, and Jordon Worona.
“I never thought I’d be such a reality hoe that I’d have a holiday special,” Mongeau wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for watching and doing this for me. Filming this has truly taught me that not only the people pictured but all of you are my family. That’s what this season is all about. Love you and here’s to bagging an MTV holiday special.”
