Abrams Artists Agency Opens In-House Podcast Studio For Client Recordings

Abrams Artists Agency, a talent firm that reps a ton of top YouTube stars, is foraying into podcasts with an in-house studio, enabling its clients to record their audio series within its own auspices.

The state-of-the-art facility will be accessible to “dozens” of Abrams clients with podcasts, the company says, and will also serve as a hub for video production to be used by clients and brand partners alike. The space will feature state-of-the-art equipment, is soundproof, can accommodate up to four guests, and will also feature a private elevator for VIP guests. Current Abrams clients with podcasts include football star Andrew East, designer Jimmy Diresta, and reality TV star Brandi Glanville.

The studio will be overseen by Amanda Marzolf, who serves as a senior agent in Abrams’ alternative programming, digital media, licensing, and branding division. Director of sales Katina Kontarakis

will oversee brand relationships and new business development for the facility. Abrams already operates an internal podcast team to help facilitate distribution partnerships, as well as a sales team that helps vends sponsorships.

“We have made an investment in building this facility because we see it as a growing part of the business, and we want to make sure our clients have all the best resources and tools to be as successful as possible,” Abrams president and COO Brian Cho said in a statement.

Abrams isn’t the only talent agency to dive into podcasting. Last June, UTA partnered with audio company Cadence13 to launch an audio network called Ramble that work exclusively with top YouTube such as Rhett & Link, Natalie Alzate, and Josh Peck.
