Welcome to YouTube Millionaires, where we profile channels that have recently crossed the one million subscriber mark. There are channels crossing this threshold every week, and each has a story to tell about YouTube success. Read previous installments of YouTube Millionaires here.
This week’s YouTube Millionaire may be one channel, but it’s two people — two kiddos, in fact. We’re crowning 5-year-olds Everleigh Soutas and Ava Foley for their combined channel, ForEverAndForAva. The two have nabbed one million subscribers with just 100 uploads — though, to be fair, they built an audience well before they joined YouTube in 2015.
The girls’ moms, Savannah LaBrant and Michelle Foley, along with Everleigh’s grandmother ‘GiGi,’ first put the girls on the path to influencerdom when they were just 10 months old by starting a shared “baby fashionista” Instagram. There, they’ve amassed 1.2 million followers, with the account run primarily by Michelle (who herself has 266,000 Instagram followers) and GiGi (who has 298,000).
Now almost six, Everleigh and Ava still pose for their ’gram in the latest looks, but they also produce weekly content for their YouTube channel, which nets between five and 10 million views per month, per internal Tubefilter data. On YouTube, they’ve expanded beyond fashion to dance, toys, and challenges, including a recent mystery wheel challenge, for which the girls teamed up with Disney
.Check out our chat with Savannah and Michelle about Everleigh and Ava’s journey so far, how they got to collab with fellow young influencers like ‘Mini Jake Paul,’ and what it’s like to run a channel by kids, for kids.
Michelle Foley & Savannah LaBrant: It’s crazy! Everleigh and Ava have been besties since they were born, and are happy that kids love watching them be friends!
MF & SL: Michelle was friends with Savannah, Savannah’s grandmother GiGi, and aunt, Chantelle Paige. GiGi thought it would be cute to do a baby fashionista Instagram, and it all just blew up.
MF & SL: Everleigh and Ava have family channels and personal channels that they also have to provide content for. Brand deals are constantly coming in, so our only challenge is really making sure they have time for friends, playing, dance, church…
MF & SL: Everleigh and Ava have truly been besties since they were several months old, and we think their love for each other shines through! Our subscribers have been following them on Instagram since they were 10 months old, and they turn six next month.
MF & SL: Michelle and GiGi run the channel — we only film and post once a week. However, we get hundreds of emails we have to read through, calls we have to return, and contracts we have to work through for brand deals.
MF & SL: Collab Creators set us up with our first few collaborations, and after that, other YouTubers started reaching out to us. We have contacted (and become close friends) with many other influencers in the process! Everleigh and Ava were the first ones to shout out Taytum and Oakley (Everleigh’s little twin cousins). We have partnered with the best of them, as well as those we think have potential to get huge and collab with us in the future. Kind of cool!
MF & SL: The kids get equal parts and it’s put into investment accounts in their names.
MF & SL: We meet REALLY fun kids and families, and have made many lifelong friends.
MF & SL: We look at what’s trending, or we just film what is going on in their lives. The girls love opening toys as well!
MF & SL: We have some secret things in store… Stay tuned!
