Scary Storytime Vlogger Loey Lane To Release Debut Novel ‘Haunted In Hollywood’

Burgeoning creator Loey Lane, who has accumulated more than 1.2 million YouTube subscribers on the strength of her storytime videos, plus-sized fashion hauls, and beauty tutorials, has announced her very first book.

Lane, who frequently delves into the horror genre with storytime videos about her scariest babysitting experience (1.7 million views) and an instance in which her friend was possessed (1.3 million views), will release Haunted In Hollywood on Nov. 14. The fictional story follows a Kansas YouTuber — named Loey Lane, naturally — who flies to Los Angeles for a photoshoot at a haunted hotel. In order to avoid being killed by a ghost, Lane must team up with her group of friends, as well as a sexy ghost-hunter from her past.

Lane has been a writer long before her storytelling career on YouTube — where she started out in 2013 and has amassed 127 million lifetime views. Lane has also collaborated with top brands including Google, Kohl’s, Sephora, and Target, and is managed by Jake Webb at Select Management Group.

The paperback novel, published by Adaptive Studios in partnership with StyleHaul and priced at $5.99, is available for preorder right here. Lane will also host a book launch party at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles on Nov. 13.
