‘Live With Kelly And Ryan’ To Welcome Digital Stars During YouTube-Themed Week

This week, a handful of the nation’s biggest YouTube stars are slated to hit daytime TV in a major way.

Live with Kelly and Ryan, the popular syndicated morning talk show, will host a YouTube-filled week kicking off on Aug. 7, during which top creators will discuss upcoming projects and participate in YouTube-style challenges with Ryan Seacrest and his guest co-hosts in a bid to further educate viewers about social video culture.

Live has always been a very real, unscripted, unplugged kind of show, and what these digital personalities do so well is a great fit with the Live sensibility,” executive producer Michael Gelman told Tubefilter. “Also, we love a good competition, and they’re masters of creating entertaining challenges for each other, which should make for great TV.”

“I will talk to anyone who will listen about digital entertainment and shine a light on some of the most talented individuals creating exceptional content,” Metro PR CEO Tess Finkle told Tubefilter of working with Live on the themed endeavor. “Helping the show curate this week of programming was incredibly fun and I couldn’t be prouder of all the creators out there who are killing it and truly becoming the mainstream.”
