Alli Fitz has shared a piece of original music with her fans. Fitz, who makes videos online under the username AlliCattt, contributes her voice to “Fill The Void,” a new single available on most major music streaming services.
“Fill The Void” is an upbeat pop track that, as a press release puts it, carries on the female empowerment message of groups like Fifth Harmony. “It came from the heart, it’s real stuff.” said Fitz in the release. “I consider this my first opportunity to show my fans who I really am and how I feel, and that I’m more than just a comedian but a singer and an artist as well.”
Fitz gained her most substantial digital following on Vine
, where her six second clips attracted five million subscribers and more than 3.1 billion loops. After the demise of that platform, she continued to build up her presence on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Five months ago, she released her first music video, for a cover of the song “Hair” by Little Mix.Now that she has rolled out a track of her own, she is asking her fans to sing along. On Twitter, she invited her followers to use the streaming platform Musical.ly to create clips set to “Fill The Void.”
