YouTube To Host Live Event On First Day Of VidCon With Performers Like Jason Derulo, Todrick Hall

A big portion of each year’s VidCon schedule is dedicated to live entertainment hosted by top online video stars. Now, at the 2017 edition of that gathering, YouTube will bring a live performance to Anaheim that will eclipse the VidCon shows before it. It’s titled YouTube OnStage, and it will take place on June 21st.

As with many of the other live events YouTube has produced in the past, OnStage will feature a combination of online video standouts and traditional media stars among its lineup, Tyler Oakley, Rosanna Pansino, Collins Key, Joey Graceffa, The Slow Mo Guys, and Todrick Hall, all of whom have millions of YouTube subscribers, are slated to appear alongside headliner Jason Derulo.

Through OnStage, which will take place at VidCon during the event’s opening day, YouTube will continue its close relationship with the annual conference. In 2017, the video site will once again serve as VidCon’s title sponsor

. It is also expect to make a presentation to the digital media professionals who will flock to Anaheim, as has been the case in recent years.

YouTube OnStage will be limited to registered VidCon attendees, but even among that group, tickets to the show are not guaranteed. Instead, YouTube will use a lottery to determine who gets to go to its big blowout. If you’re interested in the forthcoming festivities, you can enter the lottery until June 2, and if you still need a VidCon ticket, you can pick one up here.
