WME Signs Esports Pro-Turned-YouTube Star Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag

Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, a retired Esports pro-turned-YouTube star, who counts roughly 4 million subscribers across his two channels, has signed with top talent agency WME for representation in all areas. The Hollywood Reporter was first to report Haag’s signing.

Haag, better known to fans by his online moniker Nadeshot, is a retired professional Call Of Duty player who founded a professional team (that later became a clothing brand) dubbed 100 Thieves, according to Dexerto

. In addition to providing commentary at Esports events, Haag also appeared in the first season of the YouTube Red murder mystery Escape The Night. He has also partnered with several bold-faced brands to create sponsored content across his various social channels, including EA, Hot Pockets, Samsung, Slim Jim, and Sony.

Haag will continue to be managed by Petar Mandich and Nancy Tamayo at Addition.

The signing marks WME’s expansion into the Esports realm, according to the Reporter. In 2015, the agency partnered with Turner to launch ELEAGUE — a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league that airs on TBS. Other digital creators repped by WME include fellow gaming star Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach, Jake Paul, and Meg DeAngelis.
