Rudy Mancuso Teams With Spotify On ‘Playlist Takeover’ Series

Fresh off his stint opening up for pop luminary Justin Bieber on the Brazilian leg of the Purpose Tour, digital influencer and musician Rudy Mancuso is teaming up with Spotify to share the music that inspired him over the course of that career-defining opportunity.

Mancuso is the latest celebrity to partner with Spotify on its Playlist Takeover series — in which the streaming giant invites various actors, athletes, models, and more to curate its featured playlists. Mancuso will take over the streaming service’s ‘Indie Pop!’ playlist this week, where he will also talk about his love for indie music and the ways in which music is a vital part of his being. Songs in the mix include Blondage

’s Stoned, No Matter What by Little Monarch, and Panama’s Hope For Something.

“[Music] inspires me to create every single day and has gotten me through every experience I’ve ever had,” Mancuso says. On the road with Bieber, for instance, the 25-year-old — who is signed to Shots Studios — performed both original music and covers, during which he also played piano, guitar, and drums.
