Asian Influencer Network Gushcloud Acquires Talent Management Company uFluencer Group (Exclusive)

One of the most prominent influencer-driven media companies in Asia is making a bold move into America. Gushcloud, headquartered in Singapore, has acquired talent management company uFluencer Group, which counts several top online video stars among its clients.

The deal will result in the launch of the Gushcloud Talent Agency, a new division that will open up opportunities for uFluencer’s clients in Asia and beyond. Gushcloud is looking to get a foothold in North America, but it also plans to incorporate Gushcloud Talent Agency clients into its local initiatives. One such initiative is the annual Influence Asia convention; at the 2017 edition of that event, which runs between April 6th-9th in Kuala Lumpur, creators from the Gushcloud Talent Agency roster will be introduced.

Here, via YouTube, are highlights from a previous Influence Asia:

“We look forward to working with Gushcloud’s clients and influencers from their extensive network and establishing our position as the world’s leading influencer company,” added uFluencer founder Ken Henman.

Prominent creators who are partnered with uFluencer include Carli Bybel, Bubzbeauty, and Shaaanxo. In total, the company’s roster reaches more than 25 million subscribers on YouTube.

Financial terms of Gushcloud’s acquisition were not disclosed.
