Hunter March To Release Compilation Book About YouTubers’ Offscreen Lives

Yesterday, the vlogger and digital host Hunter March announced his very first book — a compilation tome featuring top YouTube stars waxing poetic about what happens when the camera shuts off.

Titled TBH: 51 True Story Collabs, the book, which is being published by Scholastic and is set to hit shelves on April 25, will feature written contributions from Alex Aiono, Jenn McAllister, Andrew Lowe, Rebecca Black, and other creators about their lives outside of YouTube. The title is a play on the popular YouTube video format, in which creators pair up to star in videos on one another’s channels.

“Crushes turn to relationships and parents get divorced. Friendships are made and hearts are broken. Tests get flunked and dreams come true,” reads a jacket description. “Sometimes creators’ real lives happen off-screen, and in TBH: 51 True Story Collabs, they happen on the page.” You can preorder the book right here

Other creators featured in the book in addition to March himself include Meg DeAngelis, Lauren Elizabeth, The Merrell Twins, Claudia Sulewski, Aspyn Ovard, Cimorelli, Ryan Abe, Alexis G. Zall, Rickey Thompson, Meghan Tonjes, Maddy Whitby, Monica Sherer, Lex Lee, and Aija Mayrock.

March, who began his career as an intern at AwesomenessTV, is now the face of its YouTube channel, producing and hosting roughly 10 videos every week. He counts roughly 380,000 subscribers on his personal YouTube channel. In a hosting capacity, he is aiming to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, Hal March, who served as host of the storied game show The 64,000 Question.
