Fine Brothers To Premiere New ‘Quizzicle’ Game Show Online Before Expanding To TV

Fine Brothers Entertainment (FBE), The Fine Brothers’ media outfit that creates programming for online platforms and traditional TV has announced a new partnership with indie studio Entertainment One (eOne) and veteran TV show creators Cleve Keller and Dave Noll. The three entities will create programming that is slated to incubate on the FBE Digital Network — including the borthers’ YouTube channel, which is home to more than 14 million subscribers — before expanding to traditional TV.

The first show being produced as part of the deal is titled Quizzicle — a fast-paced and colorful game show premiering later this year. Pitting two teams against one another, Quizzicle is part pop culture trivia quiz and part puzzle, according to a release. There will also be an accompanying Quizzicle mobile app.

“With our vast experience in both online and traditional television show formats, partnering with powerhouses eOne and Keller/Noll creates an ideal trifecta to continue evolving entertainment and distribution models,” said FBE co-founders Benny

and Rafi Fine in a statement. Added Brandie Tucker, FBE’s head of alternative television: “Using elements from our popular digital series as the basis for these shows, together we’ll be able to deliver high-quality, entertaining content with a real audience sample before we even get to traditional markets.”

Keller and Noll, whose Keller/Noll firm is the brains behind the Food Network competition show Chopped, entered a first-look deal for unscripted programming with eOne (Growing Up Hip Hop) earlier this year.

The Fine Brothers, perhaps best known for their React series, recently partnered with Fullscreen’s fledgling SVOD platform to distribute the second season of the animated series Emo Dad, and also premiered singing competition satire series Sing It on YouTube Red in May. FBE is currently in post-production on its first feature film, titled F*&% The Prom, which is slated to premiere this fall.
