YouTube Star Hannah Hart Promotes Her New Movie On ‘The Daily Show’

On the September 14th episode of The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah sat down with one of YouTube’s most likable personalities. His guest that day was Hannah Hart, who showed up on the long-running Comedy Central late-night program to promote her upcoming film Dirty Thirty.

During their chat, Hart and Noah discussed her second book (due out on October 18th), her thoughts on sharing her drunken escapades with the world (she’s all for it), and, of course, her new movie. In Dirty Thirty, Hart and her buddies Grace Helbig

and Mamrie Hart (who are collectively referred to as YouTube’s “Holy Trinity”) will play a trio of friends who throw an epic rager to celebrate the 30th birthday of Mamrie Hart’s character.

The entire September 14th episode of The Daily Show can be viewed on the Comedy Central website. Noah’s interview with Hart begins in the third segment of the video.

As more online video stars expand their respective repertoires to include film, TV, and print projects, they have increasingly turned to the late-night talk show circuit to promote their work. Hart is at least the third digital media personality to appear on The Daily Show; previously, Noah chatted with YouTube star Lilly Singh and sat down with Vine comedian King Bach.

Dirty Thirty, which was announced in October 2015 thanks to a deal with Lionsgate, will become available for digital download beginning on September 23rd. It will be the second film to feature Hart, Helbig, and Hart as its co-stars, following 2014’s Camp Takota.
