Beauty Vlogger Estée Lalonde Reveals Cover, Release Date For Lifestyle Book ‘Bloom’

U.K.-based fashion and beauty creator Estée Lalonde revealed today the launch date and cover art for her upcoming book, Bloom: Navigating Life And Style. The book, published by Ebury Publishing — a division of Penguin Random House — was first announced by Lalonde in February, and will debut internationally during the first week of October. It hits shelves in the U.S. and Canada on October 4, and in the U.K. and the rest of the world on October 6.

Lalonde, who hails from Cananda, describes Bloom as “not a book about living the perfect lifestyle, it’s about giving you the confidence to find the lifestyle that is perfect for you.” The book is divided into different chapters, including ‘Work’, ‘Beauty’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Home’, ‘Food’, and her personal favorite, ‘Travel’. The minimalist cover art, which Lalonde revealed in a video today, features a photo of her and the word ‘Bloom’ written on a light teal background.

While many YouTubers have successfully broached careers in publishing, catalyzing a rise in book sales, Lalonde notes that she wanted to write a book since she was a little girl, and found the process to be both therapeutic and transformative. Expressing herself on paper as opposed to via video also turned out to be a unique experience, she says, in that, on YouTube, “everything has to be compact, entertaining, and quick. But I feel like with a book you can really take the time to expand on your thoughts and on your ideas and really try to use the appropriate words to express how you’re feeling.”
