YouTube Stars, BRIDES Magazine Will Help Plan A Couple’s Wedding In ‘Live Wedding’ Series

YouTube celebrities Chelsea Briggs, Alexandrea Garza, and Meghan Rienks will help one winning couple with the wedding of their dreams. Collective Digital Studio teamed with Conde Nast’s BRIDES publication to help plan the ultimate destination wedding in the BRIDES Live Wedding web series, which debuted on May 29, 2015.

BRIDES Live Wedding was originally a live event; the magazine turned it into a digital series which garnered 6 million views in 2014. For this year’s BRIDES Live Wedding series, Briggs, who hosts the Hollywire TV YouTube channel (which boasts 1.1 million subscribers), will host each episode. Garza (with over 390,000 subscribers) is set to provide decor tips and Rienks (with 1.5 million subscribers) will help with beauty and hair so the lucky bride will feel and look her best on her wedding day.

For the rest of the BRIDES Live Wedding series, BRIDES editors will curate the wedding’s style, theme, honeymoon destination, and more. Fans across the country will be able to vote on these preferences, and with every vote BRIDES will donate funds to the winning couple’s charity of choice. Participating sponsors and vendors for the BRIDES Live Wedding series include David’s Bridal, Sandals Resorts

, Delta Airlines, Carlo’s Bakery Gartner Studios, and Mary Kay.

“We are thrilled to welcome YouTube stars Chelsea Briggs, Alexandrea Garza, and Meghan Rienks to the BRIDES Live Wedding family,” said Michelle Myers, BRIDES publisher and chief revenue officer, in a release. “The episodic series has become the cornerstone of this program, and it was a natural progression to incorporate some of the biggest YouTube personalities.”

“Our audience is spending a significant amount of time on YouTube, and many already follow YouTube stars Chelsea Briggs, Alexandrea Garza, and Meghan Rienks,” added Keija Minor, editor-in-chief of BRIDES. “By incorporating them into the series, we are able to speak to our audience with trusted voices, further enhancing the full experience of BRIDES Live Wedding.”

You can watch the first episode of BRIDES Live Wedding on BRIDES’ YouTube channel. Future episodes will be released every Friday up until the official wedding on June 14, 2015, which will be held at the Sandals Whitehouse European Village and Spa in Jamaica.
