Sprinkle Of Glitter To Join The YouTube Book Club In July

Louise Pentland has amassed more than two million subscribers on her Sprinkle of Glitter channel by sharing her fashion, beauty, and style secrets with her predominantly female audience. Now, Pentland is joining the list of YouTube stars who are translating their online success to the literary world. She has announced Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter, a non-fiction book that will hit shelves on July 2nd.

In Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter, Pentland will share tips and advice with her young fans, who are collectively known as “Sprinklerinos.” Across four sections, each of which will contain four or five chapters, Pentland explores various topics, including love, creative projects, and “glitz.”

In an announcement video released on her YouTube channel, Pentland shares a mock-up of the book and offers some details about the project. “I don’t see this as a YouTube book,” she says. “I see this as this thing that I’ve poured myself into.”

Many of Pentland’s most popular videos are her collaborations with fellow YouTube beauty star Zoella, who has a book deal of her own through Penguin. Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter will instead be published by Simon & Schuster, which has already worked with a number of YouTube stars through its Keywords Press imprint.

At Amazon, Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter is available to preorder ahead of its July 2nd arrival. Leading up to that date, Pentland will promote her book with a tour and press appearances, so stayed tuned to her YouTube channel if you’d like to receive updates.
