YouTube Vlogger Bethany Mota Unveils Holiday Fashion Line Through Aeropostale

It’s been one year since YouTuber Bethany Mota brought her personal brand to the fashion world by attaching her name to an Aeropostale clothing line. That collection was a big success, and this year, Aeropostale wants to do it again. In time for the holiday season, Mota has unveiled her “Anniversary Collection,” a curated selection of clothes and home decor items.

The sales potential of Mota’s Aeropostale collections has been a popular topic over the past year. As several articles have noted, changing trends in teen fashion have hit Aeropostale hard, and through the 19-year-old fashion vlogger, the clothing retailer can offer a fresh look that appeals directly to teenage consumers. With that in mind, Mota has based her collection around a hip, youthful style that speaks to her 7.8 million subscribers.

Mota also stepped into the pages of Teen Vogue to show off her clothing line. A 26-part slideshow includes all of the items in the Anniversary Collection. She also earned herself a short feature from Seventeen Magazine, where she previously served as the cover girl for an issue devoted entirely to YouTube.

Mota, who recently turned in a respectable showing on the latest season of Dancing With The Stars, has continued her emergence as a multiplatform star. She’s making music, designing clothes, speaking at industry events, and generally doing whatever she can to prove she’s more than just a YouTube “haul girl.” The items in her collection can be purchased now off Aeropostale’s racks.
