In January, PewDiePie became the first YouTuber to claim more than 20 million subscribers. Seven months later, he has reached another round number milestone. The channel of gamer Felix Kjellberg now has more than 30 million subscribers, with one million new fans joining the Swede’s “Bro Army” in a 25-day span.
PewDiePie reached the 30 million mark on August 23rd after eclipsing 29 million on July 29th. That means he pulled in his latest million in ten fewer day than it took him to get from 28 to 29 million. That rate translates to a nice round 280,000 subscribers per week, 40,000 per day, 1,666 per hour, 27 per minute, and roughly one new fan every two seconds
.PewDiePie celebrated his latest milestone with a typically appreciative tweet:
We hit 30 million subscribers! Thank you bros so much!! :’D

He has also kept up a frequent posting schedule. Here’s his latest video, in which he plays a horror game on the Oculus Rift:
