The phrase “go big or go home” seems appropriate for a new three-part branded entertainment series about the quest to build the perfect, most epic American cooking accoutrement.
Discovery Digital Networks partnered up with Ball Park to bring the online video masses America’s Finest Grill. The program is hosted by Tekzilla’s Patrick Norton and is in the style of Extreme Home Makeover (but on a much smaller scale). It features Norton who, inspired by Park’s Finest hot dogs by Ball Park, approaches a local engineer firm called TechShop to build the best possible grill to complement the classic summer dish.
The result is an overblown, Americana-themed grill, which boasts not just the grill portion, but also a wireless sound system controlled by BlueTooth, beer taps on top of a mini fridge, a Mount Rushmore-themed condiment dish, custom seating for eight guests, and more. Oh, and this is all sitting on top a red, white, and blue 19-foot trailer. ‘Merica.
You don’t have to be a meat eater to appreciate this unique creation, so check out all three episodes of America’s Finest Grill on Destination America’s site.
