‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’ Trailer Reveals Season 4 Guests

Jerry Seinfeld‘s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee will return to Crackle and YouTube on June 19th. The talk show web series about nothing will debut a five-episode fourth season this summer, and a new trailer has revealed the quintet of guests who will join Seinfeld in his vintage automobiles and coffee shops.

Seinfeld has been criticized for inviting a majority of white male guests to his show, an accusation he has spurned. Nonetheless, the season four guests are a diverse group: George Wallace, Aziz Ansari, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robert Klein, and Jon Stewart. As in previous seasons, Seinfeld will pick up his guests in classic cars and drive off for a chat that, despite the series title, often goes beyond coffee. For instance, if the trailer is to be believed, Seinfeld and Klein will take a trip to Sing Sing Correctional Facility.

Acura, which has sponsored Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee since its inception,  will return as the show’s exclusive brand partner. The car company plans to retain a long-term partnership with Crackle, as it will sponsor at least five more seasons of Seinfeld’s web series after this one.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has emerged as Crackle’s most successful series. It has gained more than 40 million streams since its debut in 2012, has spawned a number of parodies, and has inspired other celebrity comedians to launch candid talk web series of their own. Still, despite its many imitators, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has a certain unmatched appeal. Judging from the guest list, season four will keep up Seinfeld’s strong web series work.
