Maker Studios is best known for managing its network of YouTube partners, but a recent partnership will give it a web series of its own. Maker has teamed up with fashion brand Nylon for Oh, You Pretty Things, its first scripted drama series.
As first reported by USA Today, Oh, You Pretty Things will follow a group of young “20-somethings” who are trying to make it in the fashion and music world of LA’s Eastside neighborhood. The series will star Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint, as a lifestyle blogger.
The series will run for ten episodes on The Platform, Maker’s fashion channel. A “first look” posted to that channel gives viewers a taste of what to expect:
Maker’s partnership with Nylon will also extend beyond one web series, as Maker will also produce content for Nylon’s own YouTube channel.
The first episode of Oh, You Pretty Things is set to arrive on May 19th.
