Zach Anner’s ‘Workout Wednesday’ Goes Viral On YouTube, Is The Best

Zach Anner doesn’t post videos to his YouTube channel as frequently as he used to, but the content he does release is always great. The comedian–now based in Los Angeles–has released a new episode of his Workout Wednesdays series, and it has received more than 700,000 views in two days.

Anner, who has cerebral palsy, is a big hit on the Internet, and Workout Wednesdays–where he accomplishes athletic feats while delivering a comedic monologue–has scored more than a million views over its first 11 episodes.

The 12th episode, which manages to be both self-depreciating and inspirational at the same time, is one pace to outdo every Workout Wednesday video yet. It features Anner’s attempt to walk a twelfth of a mile while constantly cracking jokes along the way. Check it out, and don’t forget to laugh; that’s the entire point.

Workout Wednesday #12 is also a personal milestone for Anner: It’s the 100th video on his YouTube channel, which he first launched three-and-a-half years ago. Congrats, Zach! Here at Tubefilter, we’re glad to see that YouTube thing’s working out for you.

The new video is the first Workout Wednesday video in three months, and Anner’s  channel has been mostly dormant during that time. Fans have been forced to hold themselves over with old episodes of Have a Little Faith (which recently returned to the SoulPancake channel) and Riding Shotgun, but now that he’s back, here’s hoping it doesn’t take another three months before he dons his striped headband and red shirt again.
