The Latest ‘Muppets Most Wanted’ Video Is An Unscripted Interview

Muppets Most Wanted reaches theaters on March 21st. The film’s impending release has been great new for Muppets fans, a group I’m fairly sure includes everybody in the US. The latest stop on the Muppets’ promotional tour is Moviefone, where Kermit and Miss Piggy join co-stars Ty Burrell, Tina Fey, and Ricky Gervais for an unscripted interview.

After fielding some questions from fans, the video’s five stars go off-script. Since there’s plenty of improv talent present, this turns out to be a good decision. Gervais gets in the best line when he refers to Miss Piggy’s touch as the “Ham of God”.

Moviefone is one of several movie information websites expanding its online video presence. The Muppets video is part of Moviefone’s Unscripted web series, which puts the stars of upcoming movies in room together and leaves the camera running. Some of the other episodes are good, but they suffer from a distinct lack of Muppets.

Enjoy the Muppets Most Wanted promotional tour while you still can. In a few weeks, the Internet will return to its regular level of Muppetude.
