Steve-O Partners With Maker Studios

Since launching an official channel last September, Steve-O has learned that YouTube is his perfect platform. The prankster best known for his role in Jackass is one of online video’s fastest-growing creators, racking up nearly two million subscribers and more than 16 million views in less than five months. In order to further his YouTube success, Steve-O has partnered with top multi-channel network Maker Studios.

In joining Maker, Steve-O joins a growing list of traditional media personalities using the network’s assistance to build up online influence. In addition to Snoop Dogg and Kevin Smith, Steve-O also joins will.i.am, who teamed up with Maker two weeks prior.

In addition to managing Steve-O’s channel, Maker will also connect its newest partner to relevant branded opportunities. “I have a gnarly list of ideas and plenty of crazy left in me and it’s

going to show in my channel,” said Steve-O. “People have high expectations and partnering with Maker will bring fresh content to my channel and it will hopefully push me to go to a place I haven’t been. The possibilities are endless and I can’t wait to see what’s next.”

Here’s Steve-O’s latest prank, which features Sam Pepper and Vitalyzdtv:

Among the usual perks of joining a multi-channel network, Steve-O will gain the opportunity to collaborate with some of the pranksters who are already a part of the Maker network, including Magic of Rahat and Just for Laughs. This is particularly significant for Steve-O, since several of his most popular videos have featured special guests. I particularly expect him and Rahat to cook up something wild.
