Late last year, Brooklyn outfit KNTRLR dropped their latest video, for the song ‘Stabs’. The video was released ahead of the band’s debut full-length album, set to drop on Goodnight Records.

Around town, KNTRLR is known for their blown-out synths and intricate layering. This video couples their musical perspective with a dynamic and visually stunning piece. It features an onslaught of images, with singer Michael Henry’s face superimposed on top of everything from a filleted heart to stock footage of some lighthearted executions. These particular visuals double as excellent background footage for what has come to be known as an excellent stage show.

KNTRLR is made up of a duo of

Brooklyn based musicians who were members of a number of innovative acts around the borough. According to its Facebook page, the group’s members met at a Russian bathhouse back in 2008.  Since then, they’ve become known for amazing live shows, where they create an impressive wall of sound for a duo, one that blows out speakers and keeps the crowd dancing and sweaty for the duration of their high-energy sets.

The first single from the new album is for a jaunty track called ‘CAA’, which inspired this deliriously energetic video.  Their debut album is out this spring, so make sure you check back and snag a copy from Goodnight Records so that you can be the cool kid on the block who spins it first.
