BroadbandTV Adds Top Creators Through Deal With Atomic Partners

A talent management agency for YouTubers has brought its roster of talent to one of YouTube’s fastest growing networks. Atomic Partners has partnered with BroadbandTV after ending its connection with IGN last month.

Atomic Partners operates separately from YouTube’s multi-channel networks, but one of the ways it helps its clients is by connecting them to an allied MCN. Previously, Atomic’s MCN of choice was IGN, but co-founder Lars Feely explained why the agency made the switch to Broadband. “We’ve always had great respect for BroadbandTV and we’re looking forward to working more closely together,” he said. “Our partners benefit from the technological expertise of the network and large BroadbandTV partners can work more closely with us to take their channel to the next level.”

Atomic will return the favor by adding its popular channels–including speedyw03, woodysgamertag, kyrsp33dy, and videogames–to BroadbandTV’s network. These three gamers (speedyw03 and kyrsp33dy are run by the same person) will instantly become 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th most-subscribed channels on the BroadbandTV network

, respectively. This influx of talent and scale will help BroadbandTV continue its march up the YouTube network leaderboard; it currently sits fifth in terms of subscribers.

“Since inception we’ve focused on building a solid, scalable and high growth business. It’s a strategy that has served us well,” commented BroadbandTV founder and CEO Shahrzad Rafati. “We’re now bolstering our growth with a number of market leading services to ensure that our partners remain as successful as possible.”

The partnership pushes BroadbandTV’s roster of partners above 12,000. By adding some of YouTube’s most prominent gamers to that number, it is adding some talent at the top as well.
