DeStorm To Rock ’90s Throwback Concert In LA

YouTube music sensation DeStorm is looking to kick it old school and do so live. Or at least old school if you’re a member of Generation Y. The performer who originally hails from Baltimore, Maryland has a concert date scheduled in Los Angeles on August 25 at the Roxy. It’s a throwback of sorts for children of the ‘90s that any one of DeStorm’s 1.4+ million YouTube subscribers is sure to enjoy.

Aside from a classic greeting of, “Wuz up world?!” fans who attend the show can be expected to a fantastic, high energy few hours of classic DeStorm mixed in with some never-before-heard selections. Or, in the words of the artist:

I’m excited to be performing my own show here in LA. The concert will turn into a 90s throwback party–so make sure to come dressed in your best 90s outfit! I’ll be dropping new songs and classics like “Random Topics.” I’m pumped and ready to get back on the road and can’t wait to see it all come together. See y’all at the turnup!

Burgeoning hip hop talent with a knack for acapella Jake Broido will open the show. Tickets are $13.50 a pop and have been selling at a fast beat.

If you’re outside of the LA and want to score a seat, but can’t cover the travel costs, consider throwing down a few rhymes on top of a DeStorm track in his and Vibe magazine’s Watch Me 2013 contest.
