Revision3‘s slate of gaming and technology-oriented shows are now available for the most fitting audience imaginable. Xbox Live Gold members can now install the Revision3 app on their Xbox 360 devices, giving them access to thousands of videos spread across more than 30 of the network’s channels.
Revision3 channels include tech shows like HD Nation and The Ben Heck Show (which, fittingly, often shows viewers how to mod their Xbox consoles) alongside video game content delivered through the Rev3Games portal. Xbox viewers look for a first video to watch should be sure to check out Rev3Games leading man Adam Sessler‘s review of the new Bioshock Infinite game.
“Over the past few years, Revision3’s viewers have migrated from laptop web viewing to a big-screen TV experience”, said Rob DeMillo , Chief Technology Officer at Revision3. “With more than 76 million Xbox 360 consoles in people’s homes, it made perfect sense for Revision3 to work with Microsoft to bring our great lineup of shows to Xbox 360, a device that has quickly become so much more than just a gaming platform.”
Indeed, the move is very sensible for Revision3. The young men who make up the bulk of the Xbox audience will eat Revision3 content right up, as it is aimed at the exact same audience. I expect all users of the Microsoft console to be gaming on Ben Heck’s Xbox Laptop within the year.
