Comedians Mourn, Celebrate ’30 Rock’s Final Season With High-Fives

The hour-long series finale of 30 Rock will air January 31. That makes New York City-based comedians Kerri Doherty (of YouTube network Official Comedy and YouTube channel Geeking Out Show) and Mark Malkoff (of YouTube channel and online video studio My Damn Channel) feel kinda blerg-y, so the pair of funny, new friends went out to one of NYC’s outer boroughs to site celebrities and solicit high-five pick-me-ups.

Doherty and Malkoff waited outside Silvercup Studios in Queens on a brisk New York winter’s day bearing homemade signs on neon poster board displaying sweet nothings that showed their love, affection, and appreciation of the 30 Rock

cast and crew and their seven seasons’ worth of phenomenal television.

The signs also asked for high-fives. And familiar faces from 30 Rock read them.

Doherty and Malkoff’s hands hit the hands of Jane Krakowski, Keith Powell, Judah Friedlander, Grizz Chapman, John Lutz, Sue Galloway, and Tina Fey. The three most important people missing, of course were Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, and Bill Murray, but still! A great online video tribute to, and sendoff for a great television program.
