The Fine Bros‘ MyMusic show is wrapping up its first season this weekend (more on that in a couple days), but meanwhile, another one of Benny and Rafi’s shows is just heating up. The popular duo has released a second episode of YouTubers React, and in addition to returning all of the YouTube stars who appeared in the first installment, the brothers have added gamer Syndicate and visual effects gurus Freddie Wong and Brandon Laatsch of the FreddieW channel.
In the episode itself, one of the three featured videos is Tay Zonday‘s ‘Chocolate Rain’, which seems like an ordinary choice aside from the fact that Tay himself is one of the featured YouTubers. I’m not sure how he’ll feel about the way several of his fellow YouTubers mocked his insistence on moving away from the
microphone to breathe in, though I’m sure he’s heard it all before. I’d like to see every featured YouTuber on the show have to survive such a trial by fire, as they would each respond to their own videos in a unique and personal way. That, in a nutshell, is what makes this show so fun. The Fine Bros haven’t just collected a handful of run-of-the-mill vloggers. Instead, they’ve diversified the featured guests, bringing in gamers, musicians, artists, chefs, fashionistas, and lifecasters; no two YouTube stars bring the same perspective. By adding Syndicate (fresh off his two millionth subscriber) and the FreddieW team, the Fine Bros are continuing to expand their show and are painting a succinct picture of the entire YouTuber landscape.
