You Only Have One More Day To Submit To The Streamy Awards

Here at Tubefilter, we’re getting pretty excited about the Streamy Awards, which will be returning on February 17, 2013 (and will be co-produced by Dick Clark Productions). We’ve received a lot of great submissions so far, but we know that there are many great series out there that would be welcome additions to the nomination pool. This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for submissions is tomorrow, November 2. If you have yet to add your work (or your personal favorite series) to the Streamys field, this is your last chance to do so.

Don’t forget that there are two ways to submit to the Streamys: as a creator or as a fan. If you are a creator, all you need to do is sign up on the Streamys website and follow the simple submission process. This will make your show eligible for review from the Streamys’ Blue Ribbon Panel

, which is composed of a host of industry experts (a partial list of the Blue Ribbon Panel can be seen here). The shows that the Blue Ribbon Panel likes the best will earn a Streamys nod, so make sure to submit if you think your show has what it takes to compete with the best of ’em.

If you’re not a creator, you can still submit as a fan. This is done via the simple fan submission widget, which is also accessible from the Streamys website. In each Streamys category, the entry that has the most fan submissions will gain an automatic nomination. There are no prizes for second place, so if you want to make sure your favorite series gets nominated, you have one more day to get the word out.

In the meantime, feel free to like the Streamys on Facebook and check out the profile series about the Blue Ribbon Panel members; we’ve already given you the scoop on several big names who will involved in the judging, including Allen Debevoise of Machinima and Benny Fine of the Fine Brothers.

Submissions will close November 2 at 11:59 PST. Go forth and nominate!
