New Roman Atwood Series To Bring Prank Wars To Break Channel

With over 68 million video views, Roman Atwood is one of YouTube’s top pranksters. He’s shook weights, farted in the hood, and pulled off other assorted acts of tomfoolery. Now, Atwood is taking his act to one of the largest channels on YouTube. He is the star of Out Prank, a new series on Break where he must beat master pranksters at their own games.

The first episode has just been released, and it provides viewers with a great scare idea just before Halloween. Atwood must replicate the signature prank of Scary Snowman, a channel where one person stands inside a head-to-toe snowman costume and scares oncoming passersby by suddenly moving (all while his partner films it from a safe distance). Within the course of the video, we get to see every step of the prank, from set up to execution to reaction. At the end, viewers are invited to voice their opinions on who they feel had the better version of the prank.

The show is very reminiscent of Throwdown With Bobby Flay, where the acclaimed chef attempts to make a tastier version of a challenger’s specialty. In that show, Flay tends to create more unusual spins on classic recipes, and Atwood seems to have a similar mindset. For Scary Snowman, he uses a ‘press-the-button’ gag to put a new face on the prank. Future episodes will include YouTube stars such as Edbassmaster, MediocreFilms, and, naturally, PrankVsPrank; I’d expect Atwood to add interesting nuances to all of these channels’ pranks, just as he did with Scary Snowman.

Break has previously signed deals with Taryn Southern, Mike Polk, and PrankvsPrank; all in all, the channel has over 9,500 videos and over 430 million views. Now, with the channel’s next prankster arriving just before Halloween, we can only expect Break to add to those numbers. Also, if you see a scary snowman on someone’s lawn come October 31, you should now know what to expect.
