Last Chance: Streamys Submission Deadline Extended to November 2

We recently brought you an update on The Streamys, the awards show honoring excellence in online video that we’re producing for the third time here at Tubefilter (and the first time we’re producing it in association with dick clark productions). Initially, the deadline for entrance into the submission pool was October 15, but as people in control of submission deadlines are want to do, we decided to give everyone a couple more weeks to send in the show, series, or individual that they believe have a shot at taking home some serious accolades.

We will now be accepting submissions to the Streamy Awards through November 2

. Get ’em in while you can.

As a reminder, there are two ways that you can submit potential nominee to the Streamys: as a creator or as a fan. Submitting your own personal magnum opus will lead to its judgment by our handpicked Blue Ribbon Panel (whose members we’re beginning to reveal on the Streamy Awards site). These industry experts will then pick out a select few submissions as official Streamys nominees. Submitting a series as a fan is slightly different process. The series that gets the most fan votes in each category will earn an automatic nomination.

Submitting is as easy as going to the official website and following the link to the appropriate submission process. We’ve launched a nice compact widget for fan submissions (which you can also embed on your site), so entering your favorite series into the running could not be any easier.

To reiterate: the submission deadline is November 2. We won’t be extending this deadline again, so if you’re jonesing to see your favorite video of the year bring home some hardware, be sure to give it some love.
