Bill O’Reilly Goes On ‘Daily Show’ As ‘Rumble’ Live Stream Approaches

A few weeks ago, we brought you news of a live streaming debate between Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly, titled Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium. With just one day left before that epic showdown, both participants are in full hype mode, with O’Reilly appearing on Stewart’s Daily Show

for some good natured trash talk.

Each man has hired a coach to help them prepare for the rumble. Stewart is working with Stephen Colbert, who apparently made him chase a chicken around the room, while O’Reilly is being tutored by 98-year old comedian ‘Professor’ Irwin Corey, sometimes called ‘The World’s Foremost Authority.

O’Reilly is promoting his new book, titled Killing Kennedy, a ‘sequel’ of sorts to his previous work, Killing Lincoln. The conservative pundit joked that his next book would be called Killing Colbert, a line that elicited widespread boos from the Daily Show audience. Stewart had some smack of his own, bragging to O’Reilly that “by the end of this, you’ll be saying my Haftarah. You won’t know what happened to you.” O’Reilly also referenced a dig made about Stewart’s height on Good Morning America, while Stewart compared O’Reilly to a wampa.

The event, which will be held at George Washington University, will be streamed tomorrow night at 8 on The Rumble‘s website, with access costing five bucks a head. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity, but expect no charity when they two comedy giants step into the ring tomorrow night.
