LIVE! Watch ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Red Carpet Premiere Online

The end is nigh for Christopher Nolan’s Christian Bale

-starring Batman trilogy (and possibly Bruce Wayne). Fans in major metropolitan areas fanatical enough to grab a ticket over five months in advance of Opening Day will have an opportunity to see Dark Knight Rises in theaters as early as 12:01AM on Friday, July 20. The Tomato Meter indicates that they will not be disappointed.

But if you weren’t in possession of the foresight to get your tix to the flick over 100 days ago, you can still catch some Dark Knight Rises action from the comfortable confines of wherever you like to stare at your internet connected device of choice.

Both the AP (via Livesream) and the entertainment production and streaming company NowLive (via its own platform) will be live streaming the star-studded activity straight from the Red Carpet in the real Gotham City before The Dark Knight Rises Premiere.

The coverage starts today at 6PM ET / 3PM PT. Nolan, Bale, Michael Caine, Jack White’s number one fan Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, auto-tuner Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and more will walk through a blinding array of flash photography to give a number of interviews you’ll be able to see online as they happen.

For those not up to speed with what to expect of Gotham’s most eligible bachelor and recognizable superhero, “The Dark Knight Rises follows the story of Batman eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, wherein the caped crusader was chased into exile by the Gotham Police Department. Now, Bane, a terrorist leader who wants to destroy Gotham City has made his way on to the scene, and it will be up to Batman to come out from hiding in order to bring an end to the menacing villain.”
