Lindsay Lohan Needs Real Friends

Saturday afternoons are the best times to spend with a few minutes of celeb parody, and admittedly, we too found ourselves sucked in for a little LoLo schadenfreude.

Thank you Fine Brothers. Their channel is always a fount of celeb spoofing and they seem to have a thing for Lindsay Lohan. Remember the interactive Lohan courtroom drama?

This time it’s a 5-episode narrative series called Lindsay Lohan Needs Real Friends framed as a video diary of Lohan’s return from the edge. Lisa Schwartz stars as the rehabbing Lindsay Lohan trying to find some real friends, like her coughing former judge (Brittani Louise Taylor). The first episode premiered today on their YouTube channel with new ones out later this week.

Shane Dawson makes an appearance later, in drag, as Paris Hilton.

“It’s essentially a comedic yet sad take on the idea that if she had better people in her life, she wouldn’t be such a trainwreck,” said the brothers over email. “Each of the 5 episodes has her attempting to connect to various people in her life, from the original lawyer who sentenced her in the first episode, to Samantha Ronson, to even fellow celebrity drama queens Paris Hilton and Britney Spears in her quest to fix her life via the people in it. ”

This series is one of a slate of new original web series that the brothers currently have in production. The duo will be debuting another web series called Platonic starring Secret Gilfriend’s Sara Fletcher in early 2011, to go along with their ongoing Spoilers, Kids React, Harry Potter & The Rejected Scenes and Last Moments of Relationships.
