‘eScape’ Launches Second Season of Sci-Fi Adventure

It’s always good to see a web series return for its second season, especially an independent web series. So we were thrilled to hear that eScape, the teen oriented sci-fi conspiracy thriller that launched this past summer, has returned with its next season of adventure.

eScape tells the story of a group of summer campers trapped in a video game that  grants them amazing abilities. In the real world, this game is the object of a material struggle between Fantaro Games and Zavon Enterprises, two powerful corporations. Last season’s final episode ended with a cliffhanger, and season 2 picks up right where it left off. This season promises a doubled cast size and three times the number of monsters.

The series changed its distribution from Vimeo to a newly created YouTube channel, which eScape creator Mike Feurstein hopes will allow for easier sharing and grow an audience within the YouTube community.

MovieQuest Productions, the production company behind eScape, has dedicated itself to offering young people educational opportunities to make movies. In fact, eScape was created as an educational project, featuring a learning set where the grade-school level students could learn about the many roles behind-the-scenes as well as on camera.

New episodes air every Friday and will continue for ten weeks until the second season finale at the end of January.
