aniBOOM Eyedoll update

With a little over one month left to go in the competitive animated wonderland that is AniBOOM‘s AniBOOM Eyedoll contest, submissions are still being accepted for the 2007 grand prize.

Last year’s competition was such a success that this year became a full-on parody of American Idol. Entrants are instructed to create their own singing animated character, use the supplied background and AniBOOM watermark logo, and appropriate one of 26 song parodies or create their own. The funniest and most well-designed minute-long piece will have the choice to either produce content for AniBOOM or win a contract with an animation agent at Endeavor Talent Agency.

Come on. That’s pretty cool.

If you’re not up to animating your own artfully-crafted bad singer, you can at least judge the people who do. The animated piece with the best ranking by May 22 will be crowned the winner.
