Night, the Dallas-based talent management company that reps creators like Kai Cenat, Sam & Colby, and Safiya Nygaard, has raised $70 million to “build, operate and acquire businesses embedded in internet culture across all facets of media and entertainment, including digital media, music, sports, gaming, podcasting, streaming and live events,” it says.
The cash comes from a handful of investors–StepStone Group, Founders Fund, House Capital, K5 Global, and PagsGroup–and arrives during “a period of significant growth,” Night says.
It points to its 2024 acquisition of Rooster Teeth‘s podcast network The Roost, plus its 2025 buyup of marketing firm Experiential Supply Co. (Worth noting it acquired LFM Management in 2023, which is how it added Cenat and his creator collab group AMP to its roster.) Night also has a hand in an undisclosed number of other businesses–some of which it owns and operates, and some of which it’s invested in through Night Capital, the $100 million VC firm it launched in 2022 with The Chernin Group.

As for why Night is raising money now, founder/CEO Reed Duchscher points to what we’ve been covering for a while now: the fact that independent digital creators are becoming major drivers of modern entertainment.
“Over the last decade, we’ve watched attention shift from traditional entertainment to creators and artists born on the internet. I’ve always believed the next generation of writers, producers, and directors is currently making content on social platforms and will have leverage over the IP they create,” Duchscher wrote on LinkedIn. “That’s why we believe the most successful media companies of the future will be built by the people who understand internet culture and attention.”
He adds that he sees this happening not only across traditional entertainment like TV and movies, but in music, sports, and live events. We’ve noticed those trends, too, and aren’t surprised that Night–which originally rose to prominence by signing MrBeast in 2019, though the pair split in 2024–is chasing them.
