A year ago, Kai Cenat’s live event caused chaos. With a “huge festival,” he’ll turn over a new leaf.

Kai Cenat‘s big plans for the future include a “huge festival.” That’s how the streamer described KC Fest, an upcoming event he teased on his stream.

For the most part, Cenat is keeping specifics about KC Fest under wraps, but the Twitch star has revealed a few details about the event he plans to produce. Back in June, he claimed that the festival will be broadcast on a high-quality stream that will look “as if you’re watching on Amazon Prime.” Cost permitting, Cenat said that he would love to host KC Fest in his hometown at Madison Square Garden.

Any time Cenat has talked about KC Fest, he has hyped up the headliners he hopes to bring in for the event. In his most recent teaser, he told viewers that they can expect a lot of hype. “KC Fest is going to be a huge festival,” he said. “When I get it done, I am guaranteeing you chat, when you guys see that setlist…y’all are gonna want a ticket.”

Cenat certainly has the celebrity connections he needs to put together an impressive lineup. His collaborations with pop culture icons

have rewritten the Twitch record books several times over, and he’s hung out with rappers like Lil Yachty as he pursues ambitions beyond streaming.

The latest details about KC Fest arrived on an auspicious anniversary date. Exactly one year ago, Cenat was charged with inciting a riot after a giveaway he hosted in New York’s Union Square turned into a chaotic scene. After publicly apologizing for the fracas and avoiding the charges, Cenat has an opportunity to turn over a new leaf. With KC Fest, he’ll look to silence the doubters who think his festival will “end up like that New York giveaway.”

A calendar year has brought a lot of newfound maturity to the reigning Streamer of the Year. Cenat has capitalized on his success by trying out new formats, making new friends, and getting experience with event production. Whenever his festival kicks off, he’ll have a chance to show his fans how far he’s come, and if he lands the lineup he wants, the result is sure to be legendary.
