Ninja gamifies fitness with the first product developed under his Ninja Labs banner

Earlier this year, Tyler Blevins accepted the role of Chief Innovation Officer at entertainment company GameSquare. We now know the first product that will come out of Blevins’ era of innovation: The gamer known as Ninja has announced a wellness platform called Vivior 4SIGHT.

4SIGHT helps streamers improve their physical and mental well-being as they hone their gameplay skills. The platform allows users to connect wearable devices in order to track their health and fitness. Monthly “missions” and “challenges” will give 4SIGHT creators the chance to win prizes just by staying in shape.

Several companies are involved in the development of 4SIGHT. Vivior, which lends its name to the new platform, is the Swiss tech company behind the “scouter,” a device that tracks its wearer’s eye movements. For individuals who spend a significant period of time staring at screens (such as streamers), the Vivior Scouter offers relief from eye and back strain.

To launch 4SIGHT, Vivior teamed up with Ninja Labs, the incubator established by Blevins upon his arrival at GameSquare. At the time, the game-changing streamer pledged to “build the next big thing in gaming” and “leave a lasting impact on the industry.”

Vivior 4SIGHT is a big step forward in Blevins’ mission. The new platform’s first challenge kicks off on September 19, with Ninja himself leading the way. Prizes lined up for 4SIGHT challenge winners include Honda vehicles, professional gaming stations, accessories, in-game rewards, and cold hard cash.

“I’ve always worked to be the best player I can be, which requires more than just practice at the games I love to play, and play to win,” Blevins said in a statement. “It’s a fact that wellness impacts performance, so I’m hyped to help current and future gamers be the best they can be through Vivior 4SIGHT.”

GameSquare will help Ninja Labs integrate its products into the streaming community. One of the company’s subsidiaries is Complexity Gaming, the esports organization affiliated with the Dallas Cowboys. Streamers who have partnered with Complexity include Cloakzy and TimTheTatman. As for Blevins himself, the man known as Ninja is repped by CAA and Loeb & Loeb, LLP.
