KSI and Logan Paul are getting back into the ring (but not against one another)

The two creators who kicked off the influencer boxing trend are donning their gloves once again, but this time, they won’t be fighting each other. The next chapter of the Misfits Boxing event series will feature both KSI and Logan Paul, with the former creator taking on undefeated challenger Tommy Fury.

The roster of fights for the October 14 event is described as a “Prime card,” in reference to the beverage brand KSI (real name J.J. Olatunji) and Paul co-founded in early 2022. Prime will serve as one of the sponsors for the multi-fight showdown, as will streaming platform Kick and Kick-affiliated gambling company Stake.

The event will bring KSI and Paul back to the AO Arena in Manchester. In 2018, when the venue was still known as Manchester Arena, it hosted a spectacle known as the “YouTube World Boxing Championship.” The headline match, which pitted the eventual Prime co-founders against one another, was a commercial success that ended in a draw. A 2019 rematch went to KSI in a split decision.

The Prime card will be the first time since 2019 that KSI and Paul have fought in the same ring on the same night. KSI, who is the Co-Founder of Misfits Boxing, has already competed in two of its events

this year. Paul, meanwhile, has focused on a different combat sport. After breaking into the pro wrestling scene last year, the elder Paul brother renewed his WWE contract in April.

KSI’s opponent in the October 14 bout has his own history with the Paul family. Fury, a reality star and Manchester native, handed Jake Paul his first boxing loss this past February. If he can end KSI’s unbeaten run as well, he’ll establish himself as the undisputed king of the influencer boxers.

As with other Misfits Boxing events, the upcoming tilt will be available through sports streaming platform DAZN. More details about the fight, including the name of Logan Paul’s opponent, will be revealed at a later date.
