A golf channel known for “brilliantly dumb sporting adventures” is opening up its own IRL space

A two-year-old golf channel with more than 75 million views on YouTube is keeping things breezy with a new themed experience. Breezy Golf, the brand formed out of a partnership between Bob Does Sports and Doing Things Media, is opening a bar and lounge at a Five Iron Golf location in New York City’s Herald Square.

By delivering goofy golf challenges that are described as “brilliantly dumb sporting adventures,” the creators associated with Breezy Golf have cultivated a devoted audience of links enthusiasts. The brand’s recurring cast of characters includes players with nicknames like Fat Perez and Joey Cold Cuts, who regularly show up alongside Bob Does Sports namesake Robby Berger.

The Bob Does Sports cast will show up at their official New York City space for exclusive events. A few weeks before announcing their Five Iron partnership, Berger and his crew showed up in the Big Apple for the Breezy Invitational, which featured a lot of camaraderie and a handful of golf-themed challenges.

The Breezy Golf lounge will also

offer the group’s official merchandise as well a plethora of bar games. It will be located within the flagship location of Five Iron Golf, which is a pioneer in the world of indoor golf simulation.

“The Breezy Lounge is a testament to how much Five Iron believes in us and our community and we’re excited to be a part of it,” Berger said in a statement. “We can’t promise that you’ll hit the ball well or that your putts are gonna go down, but what we can promise is that it’ll be the best damn chicken caesar wrap you’ve ever tasted.”

Breezy Golf is a subsidiary of Doing Things Media, the company behind Insta-famous brands like Recess Therapy and OverheardLA. Doing Things has big plans for its golf-themed operation, and its effort to promote Berger’s hijinks won’t end in New York. After the first Breezy Golf lounge opens in the fall, Doing Things intends to roll out additional Bob Does Sports experiences across the country.
