Bill Gates assisted ZHC’s donation drive and explained how creators can save the world

Zach Hsieh has completed another epic collaboration on YouTube. The creator known as ZHC teamed up with Bill Gates to deliver fully-stocked backpacks to students in need.

Hsieh and Gates teamed up to fill 100 backpacks with assorted school supplies. As they worked, Hsieh interviewed the Microsoft founder about his namesake foundation and its efforts to improve public health around the world. Once the bags were packed, Hsieh delivered them to students in need at a school in Texas. The video documenting this charitable initiative has received about 335,000 views on the ZHC Crafts channel.

Gates explained that supporting education can make a change both inside and outside of schools. As industries adapt to climate change, they are developing green technologies, and bringing those solutions into the classroom is already making “a huge difference,” according to Gates.

The fifth-richest person in the world also sees another way young people can make an impact, and that’s where creators like Hsieh come in. Gates discussed the “mind-blowing” scale that is needed to solve the problems his foundation tackles. He described himself as a regular YouTube watcher, and his team-ups with the platform’s stars have helped him spread his positive messages. “If young people keep being hopeful and innovative like previous generations then I think the best years for humanity are ahead of us,” he said.

Hsieh is not just a creator with a big audience — he’s a big-hearted individual who has used his platform and his artistic skills to impact the lives of individuals in need. Before his Gates collaboration, Hsieh supported LA’s unhoused community by painting tiny houses and also decorated an entire children’s hospital.

“Collaborating with Bill Gates was a dream come true,” Hsieh said in a statement provided to Tubefilter. “As someone who strives to give back to their community, I’ve always been inspired by Bill’s philanthropy and his work with his foundation. My hope is that young people watch our video and are inspired to get out there and change the world.”

In the description of his Gates collab video, Hsieh included a link to the philantropist’s roadmap for 2023. If activists follow Gates’ advice, it’s possible to continue making progress on issues like climate change and communicable disease. Hsieh has shown he is ready to do his part.
